About the role

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for delivering skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. This position requires specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
  • Perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care.
  • Establish therapy and treatment objectives based on the age and needs of the patient.
  • Review care based on the age and needs of the patient.

Requirements

  • Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
  • Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
  • Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC required.
  • Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
  • Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as CRT preferred.

Pay and Benefits

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $35.94 - $55.43 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
