PRN Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery/Bariatric

Role Overview: Provides patient-centered nursing care by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practices and critical thinking. Emphasizes individualized care, cultural competence, and partnership with patients and families. Key Responsibilities: Coordinates safe, high-quality care through effective communication, documentation, and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.Supports performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.Serves as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.Assists in developing protocols, participating in data collection, and promoting efficient resource use.Ensures compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications required.Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience and computer proficiency, with preferred experience in Epic and 3M systems.
