PRN Radiologic Technologist

About the role

Perform radiological procedures independently, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. Assist physicians and radiologists in special procedures, and operate various imaging equipment, including portable x-ray and C-arm in surgery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct x-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging on inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients.
• Transport patients, process and forward films, and discuss findings with physicians.
• Maintain supplies, troubleshoot equipment, and support departmental workflows.
• Participate in peer interviews, departmental orientation, and assist in ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid state licensure.
• Demonstrated ability to perform procedures with minimal supervision and possess good judgment.

• Technical proficiency with imaging equipment.
• Patient transport and teamwork.
• Problem-solving and adherence to safety and departmental protocols.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and support staff as needed.
