About the role
Perform radiological procedures independently, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. Assist physicians and radiologists in special procedures, and operate various imaging equipment, including portable x-ray and C-arm in surgery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct x-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging on inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients.
- Transport patients, process and forward films, and discuss findings with physicians.
- Maintain supplies, troubleshoot equipment, and support departmental workflows.
- Participate in peer interviews, departmental orientation, and assist in ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid state licensure.
- Demonstrated ability to perform procedures with minimal supervision and possess good judgment.
Skills
- Technical proficiency with imaging equipment.
- Patient transport and teamwork.
- Problem-solving and adherence to safety and departmental protocols.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and support staff as needed.
