Opportunity Highlights

• Inpatient & Outpatient call and coverage at ECU Health Chowan Hospital

• Volumes per day: 25 outpatient clinic visits, up to 8 elective surgical cases
• Average total surgical inpatient census: 2, average number of admissions per day: 1
• Might require ICU/Critical Care duties
• No responding to codes
• Provider must cover consults and procedures in ED during call
• BLS Required; ACLS and PALS for conscious sedation privileges
• EPIC EHR system used

About the Role

ECU Health and ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton, North Carolina are seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon to provide PRN coverage. New providers will need to come in the day before their first shift for orientation.

Requirements

Five years minimum experience is preferred.
