PRN Physical Therapy Assistant Consistent Hours Taos NM

About the role

Continuum Rehab Group provides in-house therapy with Skilled Nursing facilities in Texas, New Mexico, Indiana, Arizona, and Missouri. The position offers a wage range of $40-$45 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Affirms and documents patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels. Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for patient care are essential.
