About the Role
Provide in-home patient care as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT).
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits based on care plans, delivering active/passive exercises, gait training, activities of daily living (ADL), transfer techniques, safety training, and prosthetic training.
- Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT.
- Educate patients and families on participation and support in rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted PTA license in the relevant state.
- CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel.
- At least one year of professional experience as a PTA in home health or a similar setting.
