About the Role
Provide in-home patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits in the home setting.
- Assist with exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, safety instruction, and prosthetic training.
- Observe, document, and report patient responses and changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families to support rehabilitation efforts.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license.
- CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certifications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least one year of professional experience in home health or a similar setting.
