About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapy assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in treating patients. You will be part of a dynamic team that is growing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
- Treat patients according to an individualized plan of care created by physical therapists.
- Ensure patients receive quality treatment leading to excellent functional outcomes.
- Communicate with patients during and after each visit, discussing their treatment and recording their conditions and responses in charts.
- Work closely with physical therapists, directors, and facility staff to provide continuous communication.
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state where you will be working.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
