PRN Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
The Therapy Department at our skilled nursing facility is looking for a PTA Physical Therapist Assistant to fill a PRN or part-time position. You'll work in our skilled nursing facility providing exceptional, personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your experience and judgment to plan and implement therapeutic interventions designed to meet the patients' treatment goals.
- Treat through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide exercise instruction, demonstrate empathy, and document treatment outcomes.
- Enhance patients' physical abilities and well-being.
- Keep patients, families, and staff members well-informed through effective communication.
Requirements
- An active state PTA license is required.
- Some SNF experience is required.
