PRN Pharmacist

Role Overview: A PRN pharmacist is responsible for medication dispensing, patient consultation, clinical oversight, and supporting pharmacy operations and business metrics at a new pharmacy location. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications adhering to professional and legal standardsProvide clinical consultations to patients and prescribers regarding medication therapy and care plansSupervise pharmacy technicians, including hiring, training, and performance managementManage prescription claims, insurance verification, and reimbursement adjustmentsAssist with pharmacy operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited pharmacy schoolUnrestricted pharmacist license in the relevant state1-3 years of retail or ambulatory pharmacy experienceStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmaceutical productsAbility to work accurately under volume and time constraints
