PRN Patient Transportation Driver (Behavioral Health)

Job Summary

We’re looking for a PRN Transportation Specialist to help transport our consumers to and from designated appointments. Various work hours available for this role. This is a great option for retired drivers or anyone looking to supplement their income at their own pace.

Responsibilities

• Transport consumers to and from designated appointments.
• Transport to and from hospitals and/or residential/community locations for EPS.
• Communicate with Transportation Supervisor regarding consumer concerns and/or transportation issues for the consumer.
• Attend team, department and Agency meetings as required.
• Maintain the MHC vehicles in optimal condition and report any concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
• Complete all required paperwork in a legible and timely manner.
• Respond expediently to all communication with office.
• Responsible for managing route, which includes calling consumers prior to leaving the office and planning route effectively.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to transport consumers to appointments in a safe and reliable manner
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and “F” Endorsement (required)
• Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation
• Personal Automobile Insurance
