PRN Patient Service Representative

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) at Envision Imaging in Mansfield focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring patients feel valued. Responsibilities

• Answers inbound calls and greets patients and providers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Checks in and out scheduled patients, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as needed, and communicates with patients about payment options.
• Manages patient complaints and escalates issues to supervisors as necessary.
• Enters and verifies patient information accurately, ensuring all data is up-to-date and compliant.
• Assists with medical record management and supports the scheduling of patient appointments.
• Monitors and manages various workflows within the electronic record system (eRIS), including appointment scheduling, billing, and patient surveys.
• Communicates with patients regarding upcoming appointments and handles no-show appointments.
• Ensures the waiting room is organized and free from long wait times, assisting patients as needed.
• Requests and processes new or same-day patient requests, and monitors patient satisfaction through surveys.

Requirements

• One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to solve problems effectively.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer systems and browsers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
