HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their West Florida Division is seeking a PRN pathologist to provide floating coverage at hospitals in the North Market, including HCA Florida Citrus Hospital, HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital, HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, and HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital.
HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board-certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare-owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success, and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.
Requirements
- AP/CP certification or board eligibility
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
- Comfortable with the full scope of anatomic and clinical pathology for community hospital practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Wide range of surgical pathology specimens
- Cytology cases primarily consist of a variety of non-GYN specimens, thyroid FNAs, and lung FNAs
- Clinical pathology may include peripheral smears and blood bank reviews
