PRN Pathology Anatomic and Clinical Physician

About the Role

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their West Florida Division is seeking a PRN pathologist to provide floating coverage at hospitals in the South market, including HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL. This role involves coverage on Mondays and Tuesdays at Blake Hospital and additional coverage as needed at surrounding facilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of surgical pathology specimens.
• Manage cytology cases, including non-GYN specimens, thyroid FNAs, and lung FNAs.
• Perform clinical pathology duties, such as peripheral smears and blood bank reviews.

Requirements

• AP/CP certification or board eligibility.
• Comfortable with the full scope of anatomic and clinical pathology for community hospital practice.
• Ability to provide ongoing coverage as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
