About the role
This RN position involves providing patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care in an outpatient PACU setting, with a focus on individualized assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process and ensure care aligns with current clinical standards.
- Deliver culturally competent, relationship-based care, actively partnering with patients and their families.
- Promote teamwork through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and fostering a respectful clinical environment.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in professional development as a preceptor or mentor, complete competency assessments, and adhere to organizational policies and safety standards.
- Engage in resource planning, protocol development, and data collection to optimize care quality and safety.
