PRN Outpatient Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

As a PRN Outpatient Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant at Highland Care Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. Our Outpatient Rehabilitation team is dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and regain independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert physical therapy and physical therapy assistant services to patients in our outpatient setting, including evaluation, treatment, and education
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct initial evaluations, reassessments, and progress assessments to track patient progress
• Implement and modify treatment plans based on patient response and goals
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs, body mechanics, and safety precautions
• Document all patient encounters and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Utah
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities
