PRN Occupational Therapist (OT)

About the role

The Occupational Therapist at Volare Health is responsible for evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, obtaining physician approval, treating residents according to the plan, participating in discharge planning, and documenting evaluations, treatments, and charges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops effective treatment plans.
• Treats residents according to the physician's treatment plan.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Screens residents for potential benefit from OT intervention.

Qualifications

• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist as outlined by the state Board of Occupational Therapy in the practicing state.

Skills and Abilities

• Screens, evaluates, and develops programs for implementation for all patients as needed.
• Develops effective occupational therapy treatment plans and goals to meet each patient's needs.
• Collaborates/communicates effectively with other center team members to ensure optimal patient care and progress.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to attain productivity benchmarks.
• Completes documentation/billing timely and accurately.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
