PRN Occupational Therapist

About the role

The OT Occupational Therapist will work in our skilled nursing facility providing exceptional, personalized care that addresses each resident's unique needs. You will develop treatment plans, establish treatment goals to improve functional independence, provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers, and assess physical, communication, and cognitive skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve functional independence
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers
• Absorb and communicate complex medical information to patients, families, and caregivers
• Assess physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
• Use therapeutic techniques to improve, rehabilitate, or maintain motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities

Requirements

• An active state OT license is required
• Some SNF experience is required

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to clearly document treatment plans and progress
