PRN Occupational Therapist

About the role

Provide rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility. Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs. Develop individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility, daily living skills, and independence.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, physicians, speech, and physical therapists for coordinated care. Perform adaptive equipment training, fall prevention strategies, and patient/caregiver education. Work flexibly across variable schedules and patient acuity levels while maintaining high-quality, compassionate care.

Requirements

• Current NY state license and registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Current malpractice insurance and licensure in good standing
• Dedicated, energetic, enthusiastic, and compassionate
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Adapt under pressure and demonstrate patience and a positive attitude
