PRN Nurse (RN or LPN)

What You'll Do As a PRN Nurse, you will: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residentsAdminister medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policiesMonitor residents and recognize and report changes in conditionComplete accurate and timely nursing documentationRespond to resident needs and emergenciesCommunicate effectively with residents, families, CNAs, providers, and the interdisciplinary teamSupervise and appropriately delegate tasks to CNAsFollow infection prevention, safety, and facility policiesPromote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of lifeAssist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing responsibilities as needed PRN Employment Requirements PRN employees are expected to maintain the availability and work commitment required to remain in PRN status. To maintain PRN employment status, nurses must: Maintain an active Missouri RN or LPN license in good standingMaintain required certifications, including CPR/BLSMeet the facility's established minimum PRN scheduling requirementsMaintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shiftsRemain available to work PRN shifts based on facility needsFollow all facility policies, procedures, and employment requirementsMaintain required competencies and complete assigned training and education Please note: PRN status is dependent upon meeting the facility's minimum scheduling and employment requirements. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a change in employment status or separation from employment. What We're Looking For Current, active Missouri RN or LPN licenseGraduate of an accredited nursing programCPR/BLS certification or ability to obtainPrevious skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferredStrong clinical judgment and communication skillsDependable and accountableComfortable working independently while being part of a teamPassion for providing excellent resident care Why Pinnacle Point?
