About the role
We are seeking PRN Nurse Practitioners to provide on-site care at a major manufacturer in Casa Grande, AZ. This position requires 1st shift coverage and flexibility Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, on-site patient care services and other professional services to meet client-requested coverage hours.
- Formulate and administer health programs and clinic protocols as needed.
- Deliver occupational care for workplace injuries, including some acute/primary care services.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and refer patients to imaging or specialists when needed.
- Assist with drug screenings and respirator fit testing as required.
- Collaborate with the client, nursing staff, and operations team to determine, execute, and implement protocols, formularies, emergency plans, and quality assurance programs under state laws and regulations governing collaborative relationships.
- Be readily available to provide consultation in the provision of healthcare to patients.
- Provide guidance and education to additional clinical staff as appropriate.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with Board Certification.
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice location.
- No current or past professional disciplinary proceedings or actions from any state, federal authorities, or medical facilities.
- No exclusion, suspension, or sanctions from Medicare, Medicaid, or any third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government exclusion list.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; must maintain and provide proof of current certification(s).
- High degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring sponsorship for an employment visa.
