PRN MRI Technologist Float

Role: PRN MRI Technologist responsible for producing high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic interpretation using MRI equipment. Key Duties: Perform MRI procedures, ensure patient safety through pre-screening, administer contrast safely, and maintain proficiency with various MRI systems. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and radiologists while adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards. Train new staff and respond flexibly to coverage needs. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, CPR/BLS certification, minimum 3 years of experience, strong customer service, organizational, and technical skills. Ability to work at multiple locations and travel locally may be required. Physical & Additional Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, perform repetitive movements, and lift patients. Exposure to magnetic fields, blood, and infectious materials may occur. Preferred: MRI registry and prior MRI experience.
