Responsibilities

The PRN Mental Health Associate provides direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assistance with daily activities
  • Facilitation of groups
  • Other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader, or Shift Supervisor

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice, or a related mental health field (preferred but not required)
  • Detailed and organized with strong documentation skills
  • Experience in a Residential Mental/Behavioral Health Setting (strongly preferred)
  • Must be 19 years or older
  • Successful drug screen and background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check)
