PRN - LPN - Long Term Care

About the Role

The Flex Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct resident care and supervises nursing staff in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities.
• Develop policies, care plans, and manuals.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely response to resident needs.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and resident services.
• Oversee medication security and safety protocols.
• Maintain resident rights and a clean environment.
• Participate in staff orientation, resident assessments, discharge planning, and departmental projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, infection control, and safety standards.
• Support emergency response and coordinate with medical professionals.
• Supervisory responsibility over CNAs and housekeepers.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• At least one year of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Valid Florida LPN license.
• CPR certification.
• Must pass a Level 2 background screening.
• Adherence to safety and confidentiality policies.
