Responsibilities
- Provides education regarding diabetic care, psychiatric medication and other medical needs to enhance individual health and wellbeing.
- Collaborates with individuals to make medical and/or other Provider appointments as needed.
- Aids in the intake process and collects blood or urine specimens as ordered.
- Maintains medication records in accordance with policy and State Regulations.
- Adheres to federal and state regulations and Recovery Innovations policies and procedures.
- Supports Medical Assistants and other staff as needed, including treatment and discharge planning.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current and valid LPN license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Thorough comprehension of psychiatric nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.
- Ability to work with agitated guests in crisis and their families to implement behavioral management interventions.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
- Driving requirements: meet all Recovery Innovations driving policy requirements or sign a Non-Driver Attestation form if not qualified to drive.
- Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state with different minimum age requirements.
- Travel may be required based on business need.
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must complete a Nursing Competency Checklist as part of the new hire onboarding process.

Pay
$32.00 - $34.00/hour
Schedule
7:00am - 7:30pm / 7:00pm - 7:30am (required to work two 12-hour shifts per month)
