PRN Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

Join IVX Health as a PRN Registered Nurse! Shifts will include Tuesdays or other open availability. Locations could include Ocala and Gainesville clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, administering infusions and injections with precision.
• Conduct patient assessments, document observations, and monitor treatment responses.
• Educate and support patients through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
• Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining accurate records in the EHR system, reviewing nursing documentation, and upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards.
• Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance care coordination.
• Support operations and training by assisting in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
• Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
• Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong IV and infusion therapy skills.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation, experience with EHR systems, and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting.
• Skills: Strong IV and infusion therapy skills, proficiency in clinical documentation, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
