Job Summary

This specialist deals with infectious diseases of all types and in all organs, including conditions requiring selective use of antibiotics. They diagnose and treat patients with fevers that have not been explained and may also have expertise in preventive medicine and conditions associated with travel.

Responsibilities

• Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.
• Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.
• The position is PRN and time may be spent in outpatient clinic or hospital.
• Serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.
• May have expertise in preventive medicine and conditions associated with travel.
• Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group.
• Works within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center.

Requirements

• Minimum Education Level: MD/DO
• Minimum Field of Study: Internal Medicine
• Preferred Education Level: Preferred Field Of Study Preferred Education Notes
• Licensure Certification Needed: Yes
• Minimum Licensure: MD Medical Doctor (MD)
