About the role

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hospital according to the departmental schedule and guidelines.

Qualifications

• A high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to learn and perform housekeeping duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Possesses positive customer skills.

Working Conditions

• Lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds approximately 20% of the day.
• Sitting approximately 5% of the day.
• Standing and walking approximately 60% of the day.
• Pushing and pulling approximately 5% of the day.
• Twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending approximately 5% of the day.
• Reaching at or above shoulder level approximately 5% of the day.
