PRN Home Infusion / IVIG RN

About the role

As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes. You will work outside the hospital setting, offering one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. This role offers a unique opportunity for nurses to use their clinical expertise while building meaningful relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes
• Use clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in the comfort of their own home
• Visit patients in greater Springfield and surrounding areas with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way
• Travel time is paid and mileage is reimbursed
• Receive continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current license in Illinois and the ability to be licensed in other states
• Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus
• Current CPR certification
• Valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity

Qualifications

• Education: RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
