PRN Home Infusion / IVIG RN
About the role
Fully remote and autonomous PRN position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Fort Collins area. Flexible PRN scheduling with a need for 2-3 days per week. As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. This role offers a work-life balance and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with patients.
In this PRN role, you will visit patients in greater Denver or Fort Collins and surrounding areas with occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
- Use clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in the comfort of their own home.
- Interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners using excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
- Receive continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
- Obtain and maintain additional licensure as required in multi-state service areas.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current license in Colorado and the ability to be licensed in other states.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience; IV-related experience is a plus.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance (liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause).
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of nursing experience.
- One year of infusion experience.
- Home healthcare experience.
- CRNI or IgCN certification (preferred but not required).
Qualifications
RN Diploma, Associates, or B.S. degree in nursing.
Pay
$40 - $55/hour based on experience.
