Description Of Essential Duties
- Completion of orders on a variety of patients from minor treatment to acutely ill
- Accurate triages and discharges of patients of all ages and proficiency in identifying those with critical needs
- Accurate medication management including administration, record maintenance, and storage
- Accurate input of patient discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer software
- Quality splinting, dressing applications, and wound care
- Positive communication with all team members and patients
- Proper delegation of duties to PCC’s, Lab Staff, and Radiology Staff
- Initiation of Pre-MD evaluation orders when appropriate to expedite patient care
- Use of organizational specific software to reference old patient records and organizational protocols
- Support the Facility Leader (FL) and Nurse Operations Manager (NOM) by being a positive team player
- Follow the information security policies and management system, contributing to their effectiveness, and actively reporting on their performance
Qualifications
- Education: Associates
- Experience: Years 3 Years Experience Required
- Type: Active
- Licensure: Florida RN License or compact RN license with authorization to practice in Florida
- Experience: 3 years of nursing experience required. Less than 3 years may be considered with an internal recommendation. 3 years’ experience in ER setting (hospital, freestanding) highly preferred. Minimum requirement of 2 years in ER setting with 1 year of ICU or Critical Care experience
- Certifications/Licenses: ACLS, PALS, SAMS
- Skills: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, ability to stand and work up to a 12-hour shift in the facility, ability to travel between local facilities (50-mile radius) in order to cover shifts as requested, legibly write English, clearly speak English, and proficiently read English, Bilingual Preferred
- Exclusions: RN’s currently employed by or affiliated with medical marijuana clinics are ineligible for hire.
- Travel: Up to 30% travel to support clinic operations across the market. Travel may include coverage at other clinic locations, trainings, meetings, and other operational needs as they arise.
