PRN Dialysis Charge Nurse, RN

Responsibilities
- Oversees daily clinical activities on the treatment floor.
- Serves as a supervisor, delegating daily assignments to ensure safe, efficient, and quality care.
- Delegates tasks such as CMPA and POC assignments to other nurses as needed.
- Ensures all forms and patient documents are completed in a timely manner.
- Communicates with staff and patients regarding policies and procedures.
- Documents patient care in a clear, concise, and thorough manner.
- Administers medications and ensures lab tests are completed according to orders.
- Promotes patient education and maintains a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
- Works collaboratively with the healthcare team and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
- Current RN license for Mississippi and current CPR certification.
- One year of hemodialysis RN experience (two to three years preferred).
- Strong technical/computer proficiency with relevant software.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Experience with ESRD patient care and treatment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and protocols.

Pay
Hourly rate: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on documented experience, qualifications, and market data).
Schedule
This Dialysis Unit operates Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility.
