SCHEDULE
This is a PRN Day shift position.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an ABHES accredited school of cytotechnology or other organization approved by Health and Human Services or meet one of the other CAP qualifications for the Cytotechnologist position.
- Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP registration) is required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
- Associate degree is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years' experience as a Cytotechnologist is required.
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of the cytotechnology department.
- Screens average of 60 – 80 slides per day (limits set by CAP and Pathologist).
- Diagnosis is consistently within one grade of Pathologist or Consultant diagnosis.
SALARY RANGE
Base rate + 14% PRN Differential
Evening, Night and Weekend Differentials Available.
