PRN CT Technologist

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Handles additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Applies thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.Ensures accurate documentation to comply with policies.Maintains equipment, work areas, and procedure rooms in a safe, clean condition for patient and staff safety.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area with full CT competencies.Registered radiologic technologist (ARRT in Radiography) required; CT registry preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills And Licensure Basic computer literacy skills.State license as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R) required, ARRT(CT) preferred.
