PRN CRNA
Job Summary
Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled CRNA to join their team in Reading, MA. The position offers a PRN schedule with a starting hourly rate of $290, negotiable based on market conditions. The shift begins at 6:30 AM with surgeries starting at 7 AM daily. As a 1099 contractor, the CRNA will provide independent practice with 100% autonomy.
About the Role
This position is dedicated to providing life-changing dental implant treatments to patients. The CRNA will work closely with surgeons and dentists to ensure optimal anesthesia plans and deliver safe, effective anesthesia in an office-based setting. The ideal candidate should have experience with nasal intubations and recent experience with dental anesthesia.
Responsibilities
- Administer general anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education regarding anesthesia options and potential risks
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any adverse events
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment
Requirements
- Two years experience practicing as a CRNA
- One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
- Recent experience providing general anesthesia
- Proficient in nasal intubations
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center
Preferred Experience
- Experience with dental anesthesia
- Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Current ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
