PRN COTA - Kinston

Responsibilities

• Aid in executing the occupational therapy care plan and treatment as per the evaluating therapist and physician’s prescription.
• Perform clinical tasks and ensure timely and accurate documentation of these tasks.
• Follow established policies and procedures relevant to the scope of practice.
• Recognize and address patient care priorities.
• Complete required orientation, in-services, and trainings successfully.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Graduate from an ACOTE accredited school and be eligible to take or have passed the NBCOT exam.
• If foreign-trained, meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements.

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in using occupational therapy equipment and techniques.
