PRN CNA Field
Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to care for patients in private homes, long-term care facilities, or assisted-living facilities while providing exceptional care. Since 1977, Suncoast Hospice has served neighbors across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with compassionate end-of-life care. As part of Empath Health, we help those living with advanced illness find comfort, dignity, and meaning, while supporting their families and caregivers with guidance and care every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emotional and physical support to terminal patients and their primary caregivers under the direction of an RN.
- Provide overall care of the patient, including basic personal care such as taking vital signs and bathing.
- Assist with household tasks that support the primary caregiver.
- Educate the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning, and daily living.
Requirements
- Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Current CPR certification.
- One year of recent experience in hospice, home health, or acute-care setting (preferred).
- CHPNA certification strongly encouraged within three years of hiring.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Schedule
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
