Hospice CNA Field (PRN)

About the role

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, provides compassionate care to families in southwest Florida. The role involves supporting patients with advanced illness and their families, adhering to a plan of care outlined by a health professional.

Responsibilities

• Supports and carries out the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Performs personal care/home maintenance activities as per a written assignment from a health professional.
• Recognizes and reports unusual conditions, incidents, or behaviors to the appropriate nurse.
• Maintains confidentiality in the care of patients and families.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License (optional, dependent on personal choice and business needs).
• One to three years of training and/or experience, with one year in a long-term care facility preferred.
