PRN Clinic RN

Job Summary

This position supports our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need to care for our patients. It plays a crucial role in enhancing the patient experience and preparing patients for visits to our clinics.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients following established clinic workflows.
• May perform specific nursing care related to the specialty of the practice.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors, and assesses disease conditions.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
• Refers to and consults with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent or resolve problems or concerns.
• Educates patients and families about their health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Documents patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitors for acute and chronic care management.
• May act as a team lead for other nursing staff.
• Performs other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.

Schedule

MUST be able to work weekdays - Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in your state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required.
