Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments
- Promote independence with daily activities and functional tasks
- Track patient progress and communicate with the care team
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning
- Complete documentation and billing accurately and on time
- Educate patients, families, and facility staff
- Recommend adaptive equipment and treatment interventions
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care every day
Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Ohio Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, facility staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and clinical reasoning abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Able to maintain accurate documentation and achieve productivity standards
