Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and therapist direction.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.

Requirements

• A current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• A minimum of one year of recent experience as a COTA.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a COTA in the state of Tennessee.
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
