About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to residents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Document progress notes and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide education and training to residents and their families on activities of daily living
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
- Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant license
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
