Responsibilities

• Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Document progress notes and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide education and training to residents and their families on activities of daily living
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
• Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
