About the role
Hermitage Health Center in Elizabethton, TN, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing patient care
- Implement treatment plans as directed by occupational therapists
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Adhere to all regulatory and organizational standards
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- At least one year of relevant experience in an occupational therapy setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles
- Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems
