About the role
Trenton Health and Rehab Center in Trenton, TN, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
Requirements
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- At least one year of recent full-time work experience as a COTA
- BLS certification required
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Proficiency in using OT assessment tools and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions
Skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
