PRN Certified OB Surgical Technologist
About the role
As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a valued part of a highly collaborative team passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
- Aiding with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
- Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
- Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
- Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(ST)
- Surgical Technologist, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (NRST) Nationally Registered Surgical Technician
- One year of OB Scrub Tech experience required
