About the role
Senior Helpers of Grand Rapids is currently seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to join our team, providing client care in private homes with flexible scheduling across days, evenings, and weekends. If you have experience in assisted living, independent living, senior living, nursing homes, home care, or healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
Job Duties
- Aid with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
- Provide direct care, companionship, and emotional support in clients' homes (not in facility settings)
- Perform light household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
Qualifications
- Comfortable working independently in private homes
- Caregiver must be compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Willing to learn new skills to better support your clients
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, or nursing assistance is a plus, but not required
Benefits
- $16-$22 per hour based on experience and certifications
