PRN Cardiology Opportunity in Milwaukee, WI

Job Summary

The Cardiologist (PRN) is a dynamic and flexible individual with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will provide accurate and high-quality interpretation of echocardiograms and play a key role in cardiovascular care in a remote, outpatient setting.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides excellent cardiovascular care in a remote, outpatient setting
• Performs accurate interpretation of lab tests and echocardiograms
• Participates in quality improvement sessions for echocardiography (quarterly)
• Communicates results of echocardiograms if needed with primary care providers in a timely manner

Required Skills/Abilities

• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate patient care including fostering and cultivating relationships with primary care physicians, center care team members, and staff
• Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based practices and procedures
• Well-versed in echocardiography guidelines, standards, and practices as dictated by the American Society of Echocardiography
• Personable, tactful, and professional demeanor
• Comfortable with electronic medical record charting as well as teleconferencing including telehealth patient encounters
• Works remotely full-time in a HIPAA-compliant setting
