PRN Burn RN

Job Summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Burn RN to join their skilled team. This role plays a vital role in the healing journey of patients with burn injuries, providing expert care and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN)
• Registered Nurse
• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety
• Performing expert procedures and medication administration, including pain relief and fluid therapy
• Delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses, and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort
• Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity
• Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care

About the Role

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 emergency care, Level II Trauma Center, Burn Center, advanced heart care, and Baby-Friendly maternity services. The hospital also offers surgery, women’s imaging, and a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
