PRN Behavioral Health Associate
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced PRN Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) to work with our clients at The Camp Recovery Center in Scotts Valley. This role focuses on providing a safe, nurturing environment for adult clients with co-occurring disorders (substance use disorder and mental health disorders). The Camp is a 74-bed treatment center offering both inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members
- Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety
- Recognize and respond to patient needs with safety as a top priority
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience working with a similar patient population preferred
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training provided upon hire)
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements
Pay
Compensation for this role in California ranges from $25.00 - $26.00 per hour.
Schedule
This is a PRN (as-needed) position with 8-hour shifts. Overtime is eligible.
