Responsibilities
- Operate Omnicell automation at customers’ sites according to Omnicell SOPs and best practices.
- Perform return and restocking duties to optimize the customer’s use of automation.
- Maintain optimal medication inventory levels and update documentation.
- Diligently review and update documentation.
- Effectively communicate with customers to build strong relationships.
- Monitor and maintain formulary inventory levels to ensure availability of medications.
- Responsible for prescribed maintenance of automation products and reporting unresolved issues to the Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
- Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the equipment according to recommended best practices.
- Inspect robot cell daily for issues, wear, and functionality.
- Monitor system trends and report concerns.
- Resolve common system issues.
- Maintain a high level of communication to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.
- Responsible for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of automation equipment and reporting unresolved equipment issues to the appropriate helpdesk.
- Maintain a high level of communication with pharmacy operations manager and customer, to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by aligning the Pharmacy Services Program to provide customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.
- Conduct training and ensure completion of all required documents and compliance with all Pharmacy Services procedures and policies.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility for work-related expenses, complete expense reports, adhere to corporate card procedures, per Omnicell travel policies.
- Comply with reasonable procedures, policies and guidelines established by the Customer facility.
- Maintain national certification and all state required credentialing.
- Act as a resource or SME, for Omnicell team members and customers, providing training and/or assistance either on site or remotely to ensure optimal workflow.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED.
- An Active Missouri (MO) State Pharmacy Technician License from State Board of Pharmacy (if required by state).
- An Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB / NHA-CPhT/EXCPT).
