Responsibilities

  • Operate Omnicell automation at customers’ sites according to Omnicell SOPs and best practices.
  • Perform return and restocking duties to optimize the customer’s use of automation.
  • Maintain optimal medication inventory levels and update documentation.
  • Diligently review and update documentation.
  • Effectively communicate with customers to build strong relationships.
  • Monitor and maintain formulary inventory levels to ensure availability of medications.
  • Responsible for prescribed maintenance of automation products and reporting unresolved issues to the Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
  • Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the equipment according to recommended best practices.
  • Inspect robot cell daily for issues, wear, and functionality.
  • Monitor system trends and report concerns.
  • Resolve common system issues.
  • Maintain a high level of communication to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.
  • Responsible for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of automation equipment and reporting unresolved equipment issues to the appropriate helpdesk.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with pharmacy operations manager and customer, to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by aligning the Pharmacy Services Program to provide customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.
  • Conduct training and ensure completion of all required documents and compliance with all Pharmacy Services procedures and policies.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for work-related expenses, complete expense reports, adhere to corporate card procedures, per Omnicell travel policies.
  • Comply with reasonable procedures, policies and guidelines established by the Customer facility.
  • Maintain national certification and all state required credentialing.
  • Act as a resource or SME, for Omnicell team members and customers, providing training and/or assistance either on site or remotely to ensure optimal workflow.

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • An Active Missouri (MO) State Pharmacy Technician License from State Board of Pharmacy (if required by state).
  • An Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB / NHA-CPhT/EXCPT).
